    i think the problem is:

Have you tried using the GL patched .exe from 1fx?

    https://1fxmod.org/clpatch/complete/Patched%20SoF2MP%20client%20executables%20-%20v1.03.zip

If that still doesn’t work then try renaming sof2mp.exe to mohaa.exe (Medal of Honor is supported but SoF2 not)

I have tried reapplying GL patchet.exe from 1fx, and renaming sof2mp.exe to mohaa.exe but it doesn’t work.

I think some software is incompatible (like teamviewer or things like that)…

I have also tried leaving the original installation with few maps (I know that if there are many maps it also closes by mistake)

I still haven’t found the solution.
    I appreciate any ideas.

    Hello scsjcm,

    1.
Attempt renaming your “sof2mp.exe” executable file to “MOHAA.exe” (if the .exe extension is hidden, simply rename “sof2mp” to “MOHAA”).

This solution has proven effective for numerous users, as Soldier of Fortune II utilizes the “Medal of Honor” engine.

    2.
Move your entire Soldier of Fortune II folder to your primary Windows drive, typically the C:/ drive.

    Path: C:/your_game_folder

So by disabling Dep does that mean you can now run the game without having to rename to Moha?

In my case the mold was not the problem.
Windows 11 now needs to have the Data Execution Prevention (DEP)

    (it is in PREFERENCES-ADVANCED SYSTEM)
