We’ve made some changes to the mapcycle on our server. In this latest update, we’ve temporarily replaced all live maps with a selection of standard Soldier of Fortune 2 maps.
But fear not! You still have the power to shape your gaming experience. While live maps are currently on hiatus, you can still vote for them if you wish to see them back in rotation.
There are still a couple favorite custom maps in the cycle such as Kammy, mp_shop69 and bigfreakinhouse.
Our new mapcycle features a total of 14 maps, with 4 of them set to “Normal Damage.” We understand that some of you may prefer the live damage settings, but we urge you to give normal damage a chance. After all, it’s the damage setting that SoF2 was originally designed for, and it’s what many of us fell in love with.
By introducing normal damage, we hope to attract more players who may have been deterred by the live damage setting. We recognize that there are players who avoid our server because of this, and we’re eager to change that. A larger player base means more action and excitement during all hours of the day.
This is just a test phase that will last for a few days, so we ask for your cooperation and responsible use of the voting system. Let’s come together as a community to shape the future of our server and create an even more vibrant gaming environment for everyone.
