Your old copy of SoF2 should still work fine, the only thing you will need to do is download the patched .exe files so you can see the new server list. (original master server gone)

If you wish to join us on the L!VE server, we have 15+ players on most nights.
You will require the custom map packs (1 to 8) from the links at the top of this site.

That’s what most people do nowadays.
I think the only way I can see this happening is to run custom map nights with a bunch of custom maps made into one .pk3.
I’ve started a thread to try organise one for this Wednesday, including cqctf1a.
Need others to choose which maps they would like to see.
Max, the idea was to alternate between USA and EU, anyone can play on either but obviously pings will change for some people depending on which server we are on.
USA server will always remain up unless the EU server is active then it will be temporarily closed so that we don’t split up the players / games.
The only way this could happen is either myself of Putrefy changing it via RCON, or via a vote..

Are you sure it wasn’t a vote, ie: nextmap instead of endmap? as that would do the same and just change without warning if so.
Either way it sucks and shouldn’t be happening, nothing more frustrating that playing well and not seeing it through to the end.
That’s really cool, there’s some awesome Q3A maps out there… really good mappers.
That Mikies room map looks like it would be fun to port to sof2.
I’d just like to clarify, that’s it’s not my server, I like to consider it everyone’s server.
Yes I help out a lot but you have to thank Putrefy for having the initiative to set the server up in the first place and carry on the legacy after EV!L closed, without him we wouldn’t be here today.
Cool, there’s no rush, I’m still waiting on Putrefy to get back to me regarding this idea..
