name is a Soldier of Fortune 2 console variable (CVAR) in the Player group. Player name displayed in-game and in the scoreboard. Its default value is "UnnamedPlayer".

- Supports colour codes using ^ followed by a digit (e.g. ^1 = red).
How to change it
Open the console with ~ and type the command:
seta name "^1MyName"
To keep the setting, put the same line (starting with seta) in your config file, such as sof2mp.cfg in the game's base folder.
