m_filter is a Soldier of Fortune 2 console variable (CVAR) in the Mouse group. Applies a smoothing filter to raw mouse input. Its default value is "0". The recommended value is "0".

How to change it
Open the console with ~ and type the command:
seta m_filter "0"
To keep the setting, put the same line (starting with seta) in your config file, such as sof2mp.cfg in the game's base folder.
