SOF2MP.com tracks every player on every public Soldier of Fortune II server automatically, so you already have a stats page: search for your in-game name. To make it yours, sign up for free, claim your name from your player page and prove it’s you by briefly renaming in game to a one-time code. Verified players get a ✔ Verified badge, a personal hub, a profile and live banners, and all their names are counted together.
How your stats are collected
Every few minutes, SOF2MP.com asks every public SoF2 server who is playing, the same question the in-game server browser asks. From the replies it builds play time, matches, scores and ratings for every name it sees. You don’t need to install anything, and server owners don’t need to send anything.
- A player is a name. SoF2 has no accounts, so colour codes are ignored and upper and lower case count as the same.
^1Bravoandbravoare one player. - Bots are filtered out, so only real players appear.
- Servers with two ports, one for each game version, are merged so nobody is counted twice.
The full details, including where the numbers can be wrong, are in how we count SoF2 players.
Find your stats
Search for your name on the players page. Your player page shows your hours played, matches, rating, favourite servers and maps, recent games and achievements. Anyone can see it, because it’s built from public server data.
Claim and verify your name
Anyone can type any name in SoF2, so until you verify, there’s no proof the stats are yours. Verifying takes a couple of minutes:
- Sign up for free on SOF2MP.com. Your username is only for signing in. An email address is optional.
- Open your player page and choose Claim this name. You’ll get a one-time code on screen. Keep that page open.
- Join any tracked server as that name. Wait until the claim page ticks the first step, which shows you’ve been seen.
- Without leaving the server, rename to the code using
/namein the console. - Wait for the second tick, then change your name back. You’re verified.
Names with more than 20 hours of history have a 7-day public review before the Verified badge appears to everyone, so the real owner can object if someone else claims their name. Your personal hub works straight away.
Several names? Make them aliases
Many players have used different names over the years, or play under a clan tag on some servers. Your first verified name becomes your main name. Each further name you claim the same way becomes an alias: its stats are added to your main name, and it no longer appears as a separate player in lists and leaderboards.

How the rating works
Your rating is an Elo score from team matches between real players. Everyone starts at 1000. After a team match with a winner and real players on both sides, ratings go up or down by up to 32 points, depending on the result and how strong the other team was. Beating a stronger team gains you more than beating a weaker one. See the methodology page for the details.
Achievements
Achievements are earned automatically from what you do on public servers, and appear on your player page. Browse them all, and see who has earned each one, on the achievements page.
Clans
If you play with a clan tag at the start of your name, SOF2MP.com can recognise your clan once members play together regularly. Verified players show their clan on their profile and banner. How clans are recognised is in clans and clan wars.
Hiding or deleting your stats
You’re in control. From your hub you can hide your stats or delete them. A deleted name is hidden straight away and its stats are removed for good after 14 days. More about what we keep and why is on our privacy page.
Frequently asked questions
How do I see my SoF2 stats?
Search for your in-game name on SOF2MP.com’s players page. Every name seen on a public server has a page.
How do I verify my name on SOF2MP.com?
Sign up, choose Claim this name on your player page, join a tracked server as that name, then rename to the code shown while still on the server.
What if someone else claims my name?
Report it on the name’s profile. Names with a long history have a 7-day public review for exactly this reason, and reports go to the site admin.
Can I combine my old names?
Yes. Claim each one. Your first verified name is your main name, and the others become aliases whose stats are added to it.
Does SOF2MP.com get my IP address from game servers?
No. Servers only publish names, scores, pings and teams to anyone who asks, and that’s all we collect from them.
