cg_centerY is a Soldier of Fortune 2 console variable (CVAR) in the HUD group. Vertical position of centre-screen messages as a percentage from the top. Its default value is "70".

How to change it
Open the console with ~ and type the command:
seta cg_centerY "50"
To keep the setting, put the same line (starting with seta) in your config file, such as sof2mp.cfg in the game's base folder.
