cg_currentSelectedPlayerName is a Soldier of Fortune 2 console variable (CVAR) in the HUD group. Name of the player currently being spectated. It is empty by default.

How to change it
Open the console with ~ and type the command:
seta cg_currentSelectedPlayerName ""
