com_ignoreothertasks is a Soldier of Fortune 2 console variable (CVAR) in the Performance group. Tells the engine to ignore other OS tasks when managing CPU time. Its default value is "0".

How to change it
Open the console with ~ and type the command:
seta com_ignoreothertasks "0"
To keep the setting, put the same line (starting with seta) in your config file, such as sof2mp.cfg in the game's base folder.
