joy_threshold is a Soldier of Fortune 2 console variable (CVAR) in the Input group. Dead zone threshold for joystick axes. Input below this value is ignored. Its default value is "0.15".

How to change it
Open the console with ~ and type the command:
seta joy_threshold "0.15"
To keep the setting, put the same line (starting with seta) in your config file, such as sof2mp.cfg in the game's base folder.
