sv_banFile is a Soldier of Fortune 2 console variable (CVAR) in the Server group. Filename of the ban list used to block specific players or IPs. Its default value is "sof2mp.ban".

How to change it
Open the console with ~ and type the command:
seta sv_banFile "sof2mp.ban"
To keep the setting, put the same line (starting with seta) in your config file, such as sof2mp.cfg in the game's base folder.
