sv_maxRate is a Soldier of Fortune 2 console variable (CVAR) in the Server group. Maximum bandwidth in bytes per second the server will send to any single client. 0 = unlimited. Its default value is "0". 70 of the 70 game servers we track set it; the most common value is "0".

How to change it
Open the console with ~ and type the command:
seta sv_maxRate "25000"
To keep the setting, put the same line (starting with seta) in your config file, such as sof2mp.cfg in the game's base folder.
