net_noipx is a Soldier of Fortune 2 console variable (CVAR) in the Network group. Disables IPX network protocol support. Its default value is "0". The recommended value is "1".

- IPX is a legacy LAN protocol. Modern networks use UDP only. Setting to 1 can reduce startup time.
How to change it
Open the console with ~ and type the command:
seta net_noipx "1"
To keep the setting, put the same line (starting with seta) in your config file, such as sof2mp.cfg in the game's base folder.
