net_socksEnabled is a Soldier of Fortune 2 console variable (CVAR) in the Network group. Enables routing game traffic through a SOCKS5 proxy server. Its default value is "0".

- Set to 1 only if you need to route traffic through a proxy to bypass a firewall.
How to change it
Open the console with ~ and type the command:
seta net_socksEnabled "1"
To keep the setting, put the same line (starting with seta) in your config file, such as sof2mp.cfg in the game's base folder.
