vm_ui_hunk is a Soldier of Fortune 2 console variable (CVAR) in the Performance group. Controls hunk memory allocation mode for the UI virtual machine. Its default value is "1".

How to change it
Open the console with ~ and type the command:
seta vm_ui_hunk "1"
To keep the setting, put the same line (starting with seta) in your config file, such as sof2mp.cfg in the game's base folder.
